The Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta operates and maintains eight camp properties that are used for outdoor activities, day camp, summer resident camp and troop camping throughout the year. Each camp has its own unique personality which stems from its location, facilities, activities offered, camper age groups, camp administration and its traditions passed on through the years.

Camp Pine Valley is nestled on 620 acres of shady pines. This peaceful retreat is approximately 60 miles south of Atlanta in Meansville, GA. Camp Pine Valley gives troops the opportunities for traditional tent camping and lodge camping. Camp is over 40 years old with a rich history and commitment to current trends and needs. After spending time at Camp Pine Valley you and/or your troop will come a way with a refreshed sense of what it means to be a Girl Scout!

Camp facilities include: three platform tent units with bathhouse, each with an enclosed unit shelter and fire rings; the Tree House Unit which includes four winterized cabins, community lodge and shower and kitchen facilities, a winterized lodge, a dining hall, a 25 acre lake, three additional ponds and a large campfire ring.

Program areas: hiking trails, sand pit volleyball court, boardwalk, swimming pool, challenge course, volleyball court, canoeing, beach, craft pavilion, hiking trails and large campfire rings.
