Mission

Camp Timber Ridge strives to help young girls develop independence through participation in new adventures in a positive environment while working on developing self-confidence and self-assurance.

Counselors for day and resident camp; day trip staff (21 and over), adventure travel staff (21 and over), CIT/Underage staff Coordinator, Head counselor, Business/Program Director, Lifeguards, Challenge Course Instructors

Why work at camp?

Camp is a special time with friends, smiling faces, sunsets and singing around the campfire. When you choose to work at summer camp, you are choosing to become a very important person in the eyes of many young girls. Your impact on their lives lasts a lifetime.

Also, you will gain and/or strengthen new skills by working with other people, helping organize their time, planning with girl input, learning to be flexible and by seeing a project through to the end. Employers want to hire dynamic individuals who can solve problems creatively and communicate ideas clearly. Working at camp is an opportunity to develop these skills.
