We had an overwhelming request from our members to reschedule the event. Now we need your help! We need a minimum of 400 people to register by Friday, August 11 to help us meet our financial obligations for the event.

Event Description            
Balance your mind, body and spirit at the Eat, Play, Girl Scout Health and Fitness Expo! Work your way through fitness, nutrition and wellness stations and become a healthier you inside and out. We encourage the adults to join in the activities and have fun too!
 Activities will be divided into the following focus areas:
      • It’s Your Food – Discover It!  - Girls will learn to make healthful food choices for themselves and the planet, and educate and inspire the world to do the same.
      • It’s Your Body – Move It! - Fitness & Sports activities led by professional and collegiate athletes.
      • It’s Your Health–Nourish It! - Activities focused on becoming a healthy gourmet, eating right and healthy food demonstrations by Kids in the Kitchen and Whole Foods.
      • It’s Your World - Change It! Activities focused on taking action to advocate for healthy change.
      • It’s Your Life – Enjoy It! –This lounge and smoothie bar area is reserved for activities for girls 12 and older.

  • Skincare sessions sponsored by Clinique (Special for girls 12 years and older)
  • Lots of fun water activities from the It's Your Planet, Love It, Journey series.
  • Become a crime scene detective and help solve a crime by examining clues such as fingerprints, hair samples, and DNA!
  • Take the Water Wise Challenge to calculate your personal water consumption.


Keynote Speaker
Twelve-year-old Chef Lizzie Marie is the creator of Lizzie Marie Cuisine.  Chef Lizzie currently stars in the video series "Healthy Cooking With Chef Lizzie" for WebMD's new kids portal FIT.  In the videos, she demonstrates her own healthy recipes and tips in a fun, engaging way for both kids and parents.
She also appeared on Rachael Ray as a finalist for the Kindness Challenge, with DoSomething.org, Rachael Ray, and USA Today, for her work with Lizzie Marie Cuisine.  Other appearances include Fox News, CNN Money, the Huffington Post, Daily Candy and Taste of Atlanta.  In 2008 Chef Lizzie was a winner of a Del Monte grant for her "Tasty Tidbits" project.
