Credit Cards

Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta has partnered with Sage Mobile Payments to provide the option for troops to accept credit cards during the 2013 Girl Scout Cookie Program. This is NOT required for troops to participate in the cookie program.


The cost for using the swipe device is absorbed by each individual troop who chooses to use it. The fees are 2 .1% transaction fee + $0.03 per swipe for an approved charge. If a charge is declined, there is no fee.


The cost of Girl Scout Cookies is $3.50 per box and cannot be increased to allow for the use of credit cards.


There is no deadline for troops to decide to participate; however, please allow 7-10 business days after receipt of the application for processing  and delivery of the device(s) to your troop. Questions? Please email cookiehelpline@gsgatl.org. 

After receiving the swipe and setting up your account, you should run a test transaction for $1.00 prior to attempting to use for a cookie booth. If you have any problems, please contact Sage Technical Support immediately at 1-888-477-8570.
Important Notice: To all troops using the credit card swipe: Our agreement with Sage Mobile includes VISA, MasterCard and Discover. We are not accepting American Express. If your troop opts in for American Express in setting up your account, you will be charged higher fees and/or monthly service charges.
