The 106 outstanding young women featured in this yearbook have demonstrated their courage, confidence, and character by earning the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award that can be achieved in Girl Scouts. Members of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta salute these dedicated and determined young women for making the world a better place through their fulfillment of the requirements for the Girl Scout Gold Award.

Gold Award - Go Gold
 

The Girl Scout Gold Award represents the highest achievement in Girl Scouting; it recognizes girls in grades 9 through 12* who demonstrate extraordinary leadership through sustainable and measureable Take Action projects. Since 1916, girls have successfully answered the call to Go Gold, an act that indelibly marks them as accomplished members of their communities and the world.

 
 


Silver Award
 

The Girl Scout Silver Award is a prestigious award earned by Girl Scout Cadettes. It takes a lot of planning and hard work. You can earn your Girl Scout Silver Award alone, with your troop, a partner or a group of friends.

 
 

 

Bronze Award
 

The Girl Scout Bronze Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can earn, requires her to learn the leadership and planning skills necessary to follow through on a project that makes a positive impact on her community. Working toward this award demonstrates her commitment to helping others, improving her community and the world, and becoming the best she can be.
