Ahh, Serendipity! The name says it all! When the hustle and bustle of your day is filled with carpooling, helping with homework and managing the entire family's schedule - you need to get away.
A weekend at Serendipity gives moms (or aunts, grandmothers or other special women) and their girls an opportunity to spend time together without all the distractions life can throw at you, nestled in a gorgeous setting at Camp Meriwether, near Newnan, GA.
Choose from a variety of accommodations: Pitch your own tent, use the platform tents or rent space in the "luxury" cabins with heating and air conditioning. (Spaces in the platform tents and cabins go fast so register early!) If you’d like to enjoy the event, but do not wish to camp, you may also choose the “glamping” option, and stay at a nearby hotel.
Enjoy cooking together in the great outdoors - preparing meals and finding new and unique ways to cook with camping equipment! There are also several restaurants available in the Newnan area for those who would like someone else to do the cooking!
Serendipity offers fun, drop-in activities to participate in at your own pace - and on your own schedule. Do as much or as little as the two of you decide!
You can choose from arts and crafts, canoeing, archery, games and so much more! There are so many fun ways to bond and spend time together at Serendipity.
Optional activities include horseback riding, vaulting, the flying squirrel, the zip line, and a delicious Sunday breakfast buffet -offered for a small additional fee.
